Hi Everyone! Less than a week to go before we get on the road again. I’ve put the new batteries (3 ea 100amp hr AGM’s) in the RV so we have our full power again. Got our new Theater Seating Seats all installed and secured to the floor so they don’t move around. Did a bunch of other small updates along with 2 real major ones. I had both Disc Brakes and Independent Suspension installed. What a difference it makes.
This is going to be one of our longest trips, 73 nights and covering a point to point distance of almost 6,000 miles, 24 States and the District of Columbia. My brother, Steve Mersal and his most wonderful wife, Susie Mersal will be meeting up with us in Stone Mt, GA and hanging with us through Cleveland, OH. This will be the first major trip for them in their new Class A RV. They are a hoot to travel with and we are so looking forward to all of our upcoming adventures.
Next, we take the RV out of storage on Saturday and put it on a spot at the Buckley Space Force Base Famcamp for the final load out and we hit the road on Wednesday! It will be a 3 day drive, stopping in Topeka, KS and Grayville, IL, to Clinton, TN. I’d say that I promise to do a better job of posting updates and taking pictures, but we all know that promises easily made are just as easily broken.
